About

We read the fine print so you don't have to.

NewsletterVetter is an independent, automated publication that vets financial newsletter promotions. We detect new promos, extract the full transcripts, reveal the "secret" tickers, and rate the claims.

Financial newsletters spend millions every year producing video sales letters designed to do one thing: make you curious enough to subscribe. The "secret stock" is the bait. The subscription is the product. Most of the time the secret is deducible from publicly stated clues — and most of the time, the pitch is inflated well beyond what the underlying company justifies.

We started NewsletterVetter because we got tired of watching the same promos recycle the same framings — "end of the dollar," "tiny company at the center of the next revolution," "this presentation comes down at midnight" — and because nobody else seemed to be reading the actual fine print.

What we do

Every promo goes through a five-step pipeline: Detect → Extract → Analyze → Reveal → Vet.We watch publisher sites, YouTube, and inboxes for new campaigns. We pull the full transcript, including the disclaimer text most people scroll past. We break down the hook, the claims, and the compliance. We name the stock being teased. And we rate the whole thing — inflated, identifiable, recycled, or, occasionally, legitimate.

Principles

No affiliate links

We do not earn a commission from any publisher whose promo we vet, or from any competitor. There is no upsell on this site.

No investment advice

We analyze promos. We do not recommend stocks. Nothing on this site is a solicitation to buy or sell any security.

Full evidence

Every vet cites the transcript and the clues used. You can replicate the reveal yourself from the public record.

Automated, then edited

The pipeline is automated. A human reviews each article before it goes out. The skepticism is deliberate.
