Altucher’s Investment Network: What the Robot Pitch Sells

The Infinite Money Glitch presentation making the rounds is, underneath the robot footage and the quadrillion math, a subscription pitch for one specific product: Altucher’s Investment Network, James Altucher’s flagship research service at model Press. If you have seen the presentation, this piece is the plain-language account of what the service is and how the offer works. The full teardown covers the wealth claims; this one covers the product.

What the Service Includes

Altucher’s Investment Network is a monthly research service built around what he calls exponential tech trends. A membership includes:

  • Monthly research briefings identifying new investment fronts, currently the Optimus humanoid robot supply chain
  • A complete model portfolio, with the presentation’s promise of “a clear buy up to price on every single position”
  • Weekly updates and urgent buy/sell alerts by email
  • Quarterly live Zoom Q&A calls with Altucher
  • A members-only website with a full back library of past research
  • A dedicated customer care team, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern

The current campaign’s five bonus reports, which we break down in our Master Kit explainer, cover the robot supply chain, a policy-driven robotics trio, an edge-AI chip maker, three frontier-science companies, and an energy infrastructure income play.

The Price Structure

The presentation offers six months of the service for $49, against a stated retail anchor of $299 for the same period. Altucher’s own explanation of the discount is unusually candid: “The honest truth is that I only build a real business when members stay for the long haul. So I would rather make it almost impossible for you to say no today… $49 for six months, less than the cost of a nice lunch, is simply my way of getting you in the door.”

That framing is fair, but it also tells you the business model: the publisher expects a meaningful share of new members to renew at full price after the trial period. The transcript does not state the renewal price or the auto-renew terms. If you subscribe, check the order page for those terms before you complete it, and set a calendar reminder for the renewal decision.

The Guarantee

The risk reversal is 90 days and 100%: “Your membership is backed by my 90 day, 100% money back guarantee… if it’s not for you or for any reason at all, just call my team any time in the next 90 days for a complete refund.” The presentation adds that you keep the five reports either way, “with my compliments.” Combined, that is a keep-the-reports guarantee, which is the strongest structure in the newsletter category: the publisher cannot rely on friction to hold subscribers who want out.

Who the Service Suits

The presentation’s own FAQ answers the fit question directly: “You can begin with whatever amount of money you’re comfortable with… I have built this entire research service to be followed by everyday people, not Wall Street professionals.” The model portfolio structure, with explicit buy-up-to prices, is designed for someone managing their own brokerage account rather than an accredited investor allocating serious capital.

The style of the research is worth knowing too. Altucher’s method, as he describes it in the presentation, is conversations over press releases: “When I want to understand a new technology, I don’t sit and read a press release about it. I pick up the phone and call the people making it.” His track record claims in this presentation, including Facebook called at $100 billion in 2007 and Apple called as the first trillion-dollar company in 2010, are verifiable and we verified them; our presenter profile piece has the details. The misses are not shown, which is standard for the category.

What It Is Not

It is not individualized advice, and the presentation is careful on this point. “Every investment carries risks, and I would never tell you otherwise,” Altucher says, adding “never invest more than you can comfortably afford to lose.” The FAQ also handles the “why not just buy Tesla” question with the supplier thesis that powers the whole pitch: “Nearly every time Elon has scaled a major new product, the biggest fortunes have not actually gone to the people who bought Tesla stock. They went to the people who owned his suppliers.”

For $49 with a 90-day refund, the honest framing is that the trial risk is near zero on the subscription side. The investment risk sits in the picks themselves, and that risk is real regardless of how good the research is. Read the reports, check the renewal terms, and treat the quadrillion projections as the presenter’s own math, which is exactly what we do.
