Karim Rahemtulla’s latest pitch opens with a claim he can actually back up. In March 2022, he told readers of what is now Monument Trend Advisory to buy Rolls-Royce, back when it was a beaten-down aircraft-engine maker coming out of the pandemic. Buyers who acted on that tease are sitting on a documented return of roughly 1,300%. That is the warm-up act for the “$10 Trillion Energy Cube Rollout,” a presentation built around the one call he can legitimately hang his hat on.
Who Runs Monument Traders Alliance
Rahemtulla founded Monument Traders Alliance after spending years as an institutional options trader. He now runs Monument Trend Advisory, a $179-a-year letter that was previously known as Catalyst Cash-Outs LIVE. His wheelhouse is catalyst-driven investing: the regulatory decision, the contract award, the product rollout that moves a stock in a hurry. That is the entire premise of the Energy Cube pitch.
The Energy Cube Idea
Strip away the countdown timer and the core argument is straightforward. The AI buildout needs more electricity than the grid can supply, nuclear is the only source that scales cleanly, and a handful of companies positioned around small modular reactors will capture an outsized share of the value.
Rahemtulla calls Rolls-Royce’s compact reactor design an “Energy Cube.” Rolls-Royce spent sixty years designing compact nuclear reactors for the British Royal Navy’s submarine fleet, and it has now pivoted that engineering into a commercial small modular reactor program. His thesis is that the rollout phase, not the design phase, is where the next round of money gets made.
The “secret partner” in the pitch is Amentum (AMTM), the engineering contractor that has served as Rolls-Royce SMR’s development partner on the Wylfa site in Wales and in Czechia. We covered the full Amentum teardown separately, but the short version is that Amentum is a real business: a 2020-era roll-up of engineering and government-contracting divisions from AECOM and Jacobs, with roughly 20% to 25% of revenue tied to nuclear and a backlog approaching $48 billion.
The Track Record
The Rolls-Royce call is the reason this presentation deserves a hearing. Rahemtulla says the stock delivered “as much as 11 times your money in four years.” The documented return is actually higher, around 1,300% for anyone who bought when the tease first ran. He is under-claiming his own win, which is a refreshing change from the usual direction of exaggeration.
What You Get
The core product is Monument Trend Advisory at $179 a year. The pitch also carries the standard bonus report, this one called “OpenAI’s $22 Billion Secret Partner,” which points at CoreWeave (CRWV), the AI data-center operator with the well-publicized OpenAI relationship and NVIDIA investment.
The full sleeve spans six names at different risk levels: an engineering contractor (Amentum), a radiation-monitoring specialist in Mirion (MIR), two uranium producers in UR-Energy (URG) and Paladin Energy (PALAF), a physical uranium trust in Sprott (SRUUF), and CoreWeave. If you are curious about the small modular reactor stocks or the uranium stocks behind this theme, we have separate explainers on both.
What We Like
The SMR thesis is a genuine industrial story, not a vaporware energy pitch. Rolls-Royce has a real reactor design, real UK government support, and a real commercial pipeline. Mirion holds roughly 95% of the radiation-monitoring market, a defensible regulatory moat that nobody builds a reactor without. And the sleeve itself is diversified and mostly non-egregious: mixing a contractor, a safety-equipment maker, two producers, and a physical trust is a coherent way to express a nuclear view.
What to Consider
The packaging is where this pitch strains. The “secret” partner was public as far back as January, months before the tease ran. The one number the presentation leans on hardest, that Amentum trades at “one seventh” of its backlog, is materially off: one seventh of $47 billion implies about $6.7 billion, but the actual market cap is around $4.7 billion, closer to one-tenth. The August regulatory catalyst the countdown is built around has already come and gone. And four of the six names are underwater since the tease, a useful reminder that the data center power demand story is a decade-long buildout, not a sprint.
The Verdict
Monument Traders Alliance is a legitimate operation run by someone who genuinely called a 1,300% winner. The nuclear thesis underneath the Energy Cube pitch is real, and most of the names in the sleeve are real businesses worth a spot on a watchlist. What is not real is the urgency. This is better read as a research list than as a countdown, and the honest version of the presentation would say “here are six ways to play a theme that will take a decade to develop” rather than “act before August or you will miss it.”
If the SMR and uranium thesis interests you, the $179 price tag buys you access to Rahemtulla’s ongoing research, but do your own diligence on each name before acting. You can review the full Amentum reveal and the rest of our coverage to decide for yourself.
