Behind the Markets: Dylan Jovine’s Research Service

Behind the Markets is the flagship research service published by Dylan Jovine, a former broker-dealer who built his own firm at 100 Wall Street by age 24. The service costs $49 per year and comes with a 6-month money-back guarantee that lets you keep everything you download even if you cancel. As we detail in our full BTM Gold War review, the current presentation focuses on gold, monetary policy, and a specific American mining company Jovine calls “The Arsenal.”

Who Is Dylan Jovine?

Jovine grew up in Queens, standing in line for food stamps. He worked his way into Wall Street despite being, in his own words, “laughed out of every Ivy-League-filled room.” By 24, he had built his own broker-dealer at 100 Wall Street, which he describes as “one of the youngest broker-dealers in history.”

His track record is documented and verifiable. A full year before Lehman Brothers collapsed, he issued a public warning on June 9, 2006: “The market has no place else to go but down. It’s not a question of ‘if’ it’s a question of ‘when.’” That call got him invited to meet privately with President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.

When the Dow dropped 54 percent, he went on CNBC calling the bottom, telling listeners that a stock market at 6,500 was like “walking into a dealership where everything is marked 90 percent off.” Followers had the chance to book gains of 459 percent on AutoNation, 646 percent on American Express, and 700 percent on Starbucks. In March 2020, he called the Covid crash bottom almost to the exact day.

More recently, he recommended Palantir at around $7 a share, recognizing it as “a national weapon, the data platform the U.S. military, the spy agencies, and the CIA physically could not operate without.” The stock ran as high as $207, a gain of over 2,857 percent. He also recommended gold at $1,800 in 2021, and it has since more than doubled to around $4,000.

The 71 Percent Win Rate

Across eight years and every closed recommendation, winners and losers combined, Jovine reports a 71 percent win rate and a 40 percent average return. That means three out of four calls were correct for nearly a decade. He is transparent about the fact that not every call is a winner, which is refreshing in an industry that often cherry-picks results.

Recent documented winners include Rocket Lab up 2,500 percent since $3.80, Axon up over 3,000 percent since $28, Micron up 677 percent, Viking Therapeutics up 309 percent, and IonQ up 257 percent. He also flagged Intelsat, which jumped 339 percent in four months, and Eli Lilly, which returned 151 percent.

What Subscribers Get

A subscription to Behind the Markets includes 12 months of the newsletter and weekly alerts, the complete model portfolio, and access to all research reports. In the current Gold War presentation, subscribers receive three reports.

Report one is “America’s #1 Gold Stock: The Arsenal,” which contains the company name, ticker, entry strategy, and three price targets. Report two is “The Gold War Portfolio,” which covers three additional positions: a stealth gold giant that is actually a copper company, a payout fortress that pays dividends, and an enrichment chokepoint tied to nuclear fuel. Report three is “The 96-to-1 File,” which explains how a 1934-style gold rewrite could happen in 2026 and includes a deep-sea mining wildcard position.

The Price and Guarantee

The price is $49 for a full year, originally $399. That works out to roughly 13 cents a day. Jovine anchors this against a Bloomberg Terminal at $31,980 per year, an elite financial advisor at roughly $10,000 per year plus 20 percent of gains, and a monetary-policy consultant at over $1,000 per hour.

The guarantee is 6 months. Jovine states: “Take Behind the Markets for a full six months. Read every issue. Download every report. Follow every position. If at any point, for any reason, you don’t believe this is the most valuable, actionable research you’ve ever received, email our team and I’ll refund every penny.” You keep all downloaded reports even if you cancel.

The Free Kinross Pick

Before asking for a subscription, Jovine gives away Kinross Gold (KGC). Kinross is one of the largest gold producers operating on American soil, with operations in Nevada and Alaska. Its flagship American operation is a massive Alaskan gold mine literally named Fort Knox. The stock trades near 12 times earnings, and Wall Street’s average price target sits at $40.24, about 74 percent above recent prices. For more on this pick, see our Kinross Gold analysis.

Jovine’s Access and Credentials

Jovine has unusual access for a newsletter publisher. He met privately with Congressmen Bill Huizenga and Brett Guthrie on March 2nd. He was invited to sit down with Donald Trump Jr. at The Breakers in Palm Beach. He appeared on Fox Business and CNBC. After he publicly exposed links between American technology and China’s military buildup, the Chinese Communist Party sent someone to “talk to” him, which he reported to federal authorities.

More than 500,000 readers across 28 countries follow his research. For more on the publisher, see our Behind the Markets newsletter review.

Is It Worth It?

At $49 with a 6-month guarantee, the downside risk is minimal. You can read the reports, follow the model portfolio, and decide whether the service adds value over a full half-year before committing. The research quality in the Gold War presentation is exceptional, citing specific executive orders, Fed research papers, Senate bills, and EXIM Bank board votes. For investors interested in the gold and monetary policy thesis, this is one of the most thoroughly documented promotions we have reviewed.
